Tarek Kamil Joins InfoMotion Executive Team

Founder of WhatIfSports.com to lead efforts to build interactive online sports communities driven by IST’s Total Skill Measurement products.

Foxboro, MA (February 1, 2011).  InfoMotion Sports Technologies, which operates the 94Fifty Sports Technologies basketball brand, announced today that Tarek Kamil has joined the company as the Executive Director of Online Strategies.  Mr. Kamil, founder of WhatIfSports.com, widely recognized for its innovations in online sports simulation gaming, is considered a pioneer for building an active online community of over 500,000 members before selling the company to News Corp. in 2005.

In February of 2005, WhatIfSports was named Sports Site of the Year by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Science.  Mr. Kamil most recently served as a VP of Interactive Games for Los Angeles-based FOX Sports, where he oversaw all facets of the online gaming operations for the FoxSports.com Interactive Unit.
